Colors, Colors Everywhere!! Oh My! Learn about colors with Patty, Taffy, and Artie.. and have an ARTastic! Time!

The City of PAlette is a vibrant and colorful community where all citizens are friendly and courteous and super super creative!

Every citizen represents a color in Patty’s colorful Palette. PAlette symbolizes the small town america and the diverse groups of people, cultures, races, heritage and colors that make a small town community great!

Patty Pastel is a creative and friendly girl.

She and her cat Taffy Magenta live in the small town of PAlette.She loves to be creative and often works in her studio, hangs out with her friends, supports local businesses, and takes online workshops to enhance her artistic skills. When she grows up, she wants to be an artist, travel the world, and learn from different cultures.

Taffy Magenta is the cutest cat around PAlette!
He is Patty’s best friend and companion.
He loves to play, cuddle and best of all, take naps!
Taffy has a toy named Artie (Ball of yarn) and loves to play with him. Taffy loves art as much as Patty does and learns ways to be creative any chance he gets. Because he is a Cat and it is hard for him to show emotions, he communicates with Emojis and small sounds that are super cute and most kids will relate and understand.

Artie is Taffy’s frenemy! They have a fun and mischievous relationship, they are the modern Tom & Jerry.
Artie and Taffy are always getting into trouble together and they love to explore Patty’s Art Studio.
No one can see Artie like Taffy can, in Taffy’s “Cat view”, Artie talks and runs as if he was alive, but in Patty’s eyes, he is just a ball of yarn and thats what makes their relationship even more fun!

Jolie Cook is a talented artist, actress, dancer and singer. Her kindness and humbleness makes her a great choice for her to play Patty Pastel. Jolie has been in multiple theatre productions, short films and commercials for independent film companies.

Jolie is the face and voice of this show and will proudly represent what we aim to achieve with this show. We want kids to be involved in their communities through art and music and feel represented in the media and Jolie’s talent will make this happen.

Luz Cabrales is a director, editor and creative artist. She has over 14 years of experience working in the creative and independent film industry.

“This project will highlight different cultures, ethnicities, traditions from every member of our community.
It will also be made with children's education at the forefront, in hopes that it may be viewed online or through local stations.
There is no better time to make art that will influence and uplift and will keep communities engaged in positive content.
We are going through very scary times in our lives and this show will make everyone remember that after a rain storm comes a beautiful rainbow.
The people who live and work in small towns will have a limitless amount of educational topics geared toward children's education and development; and the use of puppets and will only make it more enjoyable for all who watch”.

Julian is the writer and creator of PAlette. He is an extremely talented illustrator and has worked in the educational field for over 20 years. He has written and produced short and long form content. Julian is able to expand the world of PAlette and coming up with new characters that are educational and fun for children to relate with.

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and A Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting.

Carissima Hodovanec is the co-creator of PAlette and a successful business owner, producer and set designer. She has worked in all Scranton Films projects and is always looking to create content that is engaging and for the benefit of her community.

She holds an Associate Degree in Business and Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University and a Certificate in Graphic Design and Advertising.
